Great clip :) Coming off a serious DH injury myself 2 years ago (my femur went out the back of my calf and left my leg lame from the knee down) I can relate to Dans story. A long rehab does wonders for your perspective on life and sports. I too discovered that there's so much more to bike riding than just dirt...
Your eyes do not deceive you! There's a reason why it is fun- for everyone- and the design has a lot to do with that;)
I'm guessing less than 1% of all PinkBikers are actually pros (however the vast majority of the other 99% thinks they are) so take the comments about riding skill, etc with a pinch of salt ;) Great film, great riding and definitely made me wanna come and share your trails sometime!
@redrook what are you talking about dude? How is armour with plastic plates 'very little protection' and who has shown this to you? Come to my local trail and we'll both roll down the first rock garden we come across: me in full body armour and you with only your important parts protected. Then you can decide for yourself ;)
Awww, don't like all the bendy bendy black and whites with a bit 'o blurry blurry eh? It's called ART :P
Yeah, it looked like that thing was taking a punishing... what is that like 100mm of travel? Looks to me like JAWS needs about 80mm more to soften up the landings on some of that big stuff;)
And there ain't nothin wrong with that.
The new POC spine VPD 2.0 is pretty damn comfy too. About Us
